Participatory Epidemiology Training on One Health Issues with a Field Practice LAOHUN

Participatory Epidemiology on Health Issues with a Field Practice LAOHUN, Organized by National University of Lao conducted On June 18 th - 16th, 2023 with Dr Vunnaphone , Phd vice chairman of LAOHUN ( NUoL) together with Dr Angkham ounnavong vice chairman of LAOHUN ( UHS) To expand practical application of the One Health principles. PE training gathered and invited participants from its member Universities as well as representatives of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and other relevant government organizations to participate in this 3 days training .health professionals, lecturers who from in vientiane capital,vientiane province, Savannakhet province, Salavunh and Cchampasak province with a total of 30 participants . This training PE integrates human and veterinary medicine into a common approach and is a powerful tool in international public health.

On this important training, we give gratitude to our qualified speaker Dr Panomsak Promburom, teacher/lecturer from Chiang Mai University , community ecology health. He has been working and supporting on several projects with the faculty of agriculture in Laos since 2014. He coacheds and guideds participants in the field practice.

This training enhances the understanding of the practical application of OH guidelines by faculty and service professionals.
